At some point in the near future someone is going to write an article about Curtis Cross that doesn't mention James Yancey.
It's gotta happen, right? Cross a.k.a. Black Milk has been steady building his own legacy since he linked with Yancey a.k.a J Dilla in the early '00s and it's about time that we put a moratorium on the references and comparisons. Unless we're making a short-list of Detroit's dopest producers that is.
