Busta to Cash Money. Last week, Busta revealed on Twitter that he had inked a deal with Baby and Cash Money Records. The deal which also saw Mystikal join the CMB roster, has apparently been in the making for quite some time. Busta explained that his relationship with Baby goes back well over a decade and the respect level between Cash Money artists like Wayne and himself is through the roof. “This whole experience that’s getting ready to happen is probably going to be one of the most defining moments in Hip Hop, and probably just entertainment overall,” he said.

121gigwatts.jpgSupa Dupa Flow. On his newly released 1.21 Gigawatts mixtape, Ludacris has a song entitled “Badaboom” where he takes shots at both Big Sean and Drake. Luda claims that the pair of emcees have stolen his flow known as the “supa dupa flow.” The flow at hand represents one-word punch lines at the end of sentences.

“Eleven years and still counting / And y’all get a couple of hit records, make some noise and have the nerve to start shouting?” he continues. “You lyin’ to yaself, just admit it / May not like the way I used it, but you know you ain’t invent it, boy / Do your research before you make a claim so bogus that’s disrespecting pioneers in the game,” Luda raps.

Big Sean responded to Luda’s comments saying that the Atlanta veteran is a legend and that the whole thing is a big misunderstanding which is based upon an interview Sean had done a year or so ago. In the interview, Sean says that Drake had inititally given him credit for the creation of the “supa dupa flow,” with many others to follow, but ensures that he is not disrespecting Ludacris. Whatever the case is, this whole issue is supa dupa stupid. In the words of Missy, "I can't stand the rain...against my window."

Twitter’s first album. The OG, Ice Muthfuckin’ T, is embarking on his ninth studio album and is seeking help from the Twitter community. @FinalLevel tweeted last week that he was accepting beats for his new album, via email. With social media leading the way, Ice might very well be considered a visionary for this stunt. What a great way to give newbie producers a shot. Who knows, he might even find the next Lex Luger.

UPDATE: Erick Sermon okay after mild heart attack. The E-Double called in to Shady 45 last week regarding his heart attack form the week prior. Apparently the emcee had been suffering from awkward pains along the left side of his body, accompanied by heart palpitations; both of which had carried on into the next morning. He then chose to drive to the hospital where his body began acting up even more. Erick ensured fans that the attack was a minor cardiac arrest and could have been a lot worse.
